Portraits

For this assignment, Richard Avedon was our inspiration. Emulating his style, with a white background, and vulnerable model, we took photos that had lots of feeling, but with limited motion or props.

Repetition

For this assignment, we were to take photos that have objects/people/anything that repeats itself in some way. And while we were to show repetition, the photos needed an element of depth as well.

Depth Foreground

For this assignment, we were to take photos that had the illusion of depth. Using two or more objects, one in the foreground, and one in the background, the illusion of depth is very apparent.

Depth Lines

For this assignment we had to take photos that were good examples of depth lines. Pretty much this means that we had to make the lines within the photos span backwards in the frame, making an illusion of more depth.

Rule Of Thirds

For this assignment, we were to take at least 8 photos that were divided into 3 sections. 4 of these focus on the placement within the grids, while the other 4 focus on division. A majority of my photos however, focus on both placement AND division. For division, I looked mainly at a industrial shapes. For placement, I tried to make the subject off center, and closer to the edge of the photo.
